Clearing the Way

We have a privet that has grown into a tree/bush/monster.  It was truly taller than our carport and wider than my mommy van.  It was also full of bugs.  I wanted it gone.  When the privet is gone, we’re putting in a rose garden bordered by blueberry and blackberry bushes.

Sweet Hubby taking it down.  It took him about an hour to get the biggest sections down.  It will take a couple of evenings to get the debris removed.

All down except for the trunk.  That will be cut down later and made into a jump stump for the kids.

Helping daddy move the branches and debris.  Boy Wonder was a huge help, making nice piles of branches for later composting.
